Connection-Centric is a product of Centric. This page says what we keep, why, and what we promise about it.

Your data, plainly. Everything you and your team post here belongs to your firm. We hold it for you. We don't own it and we don't sell it.

What your firm puts here. Messages, photos, documents and tasks are your firm's. Your firm decides who sees them, through the people its admins add; we store them and show them only to those people. For this we act on your firm's behalf.

What we keep about you. Your phone number, the name you give, your photo if you add one, and the firms and projects you belong to. These are ours to look after: we use them to sign you in and to show you to the people you work with, and for nothing else.

How you use the app. To make Centric better, the app counts which screens and buttons you use and keeps a replay of each visit, sent through Centric to PostHog, a product-analytics service, in the EU. Before anything leaves your phone, every word, name, photo, drawing and file name is hidden: PostHog sees the shape of a screen and where you tapped, never what your firm wrote or sent. When something in the app breaks, it also sends what broke and where in its code, in the replay too, with any words hidden the same way. You are counted by a number, never your name or phone number, together with the number of the firm whose project you are in. Centric itself counts what you do — a message sent, a task closed, something acknowledged — by the name of the act and when it was, and the same whether you use the app, the command line or a tool you connected, never what you wrote in it. Switch it off under Me and it stops for you on every phone you use.

If you apply for your company. We keep what you wrote in the form and what we decided, as the record of who asked. Write to grievance@centric.business and we delete it.

AI. What your firm puts here is never used to train third-party AI models, and never pooled with another firm's. The assistant is off until you switch it on, and your firm cannot switch it on for you. When it is on, it sends an outside model service what it needs of what you can see here, and of the files you give it, to do what it does for you; only to services that neither keep it nor train AI models on it. When it searches the web, only the words it searches for go to a web search service, to which that rule does not apply; a system your firm links answers on the firm's own terms. Your firm's admins can say its files are never sent: the assistant then reads only the words Centric takes out of them on its own server.

Deleting. Deleting a message, document or task removes it, but leaves a note saying who deleted it and when: nothing here vanishes silently. That is deliberate. A record is only worth something in an argument if nobody can quietly edit it.

Leaving. If you leave the firm, your posts stay, still in your name. Your phone number stays yours, and goes with you to your next site.

How long we keep it. For as long as your firm uses Centric, and twelve months after it stops. If you need it for longer, and for GST, tax, RERA or labour records you probably do, ask us for a copy and keep your own.

Getting it out. Ask, and within seven working days we'll send you everything: your documents in their folders, and every conversation as a page you can open in a browser. No charge.

Where it lives. Your project's messages, photos and documents are stored on servers in India. The phone number you sign in with is also held by Google's Firebase, in the United States, so it can send you the sign-in code. How you use the app, with every word hidden, is held by PostHog in the EU.

If we stop. This is a small, new product and it might not work. If we shut it down you get sixty days' notice and a full copy before anything is switched off, and we delete everything thirty days after that. You will not wake up to find it gone.
